Me!

Welcome everyone to my world, of craft, crochet, cats, chickens, gardening, bird watching and relaxing by my open fire in my little lounge.

I have given great consideration to my first post, first posts are vital, to entice readers into returning. But I am still at a loss, and seeing as I have had visitors that have come and gone for good - as a picture of me in rolls with nothing posted wasn't grabbing enough for a second visit, I thought, no come on, today is the day to start.

So here I am, I think I will start off with the picture of me in my rollers......... i have never been one for different hair styles and have had the same style all my life, except when I was 16 and asked the hair dresser to cut just above my ear and shorter at the back!  NOW, I know where just above my ear is, sadly I meant my earlobe not the top of my ear and with it shorter at the back I looked like a boy, not the look I was after! My mum said I had a Rosie at the front and a Jimmy up the back!  Anyway back to the rollers, I got married in June 2012 and decided after a hair trial which was undoubtedly a TRIAL! £50 for my hair to be tonged! it fell out 30 minutes later and looked like I just got out of bed!
I decided to do it myself, I mean how hard can it be to do a nice hair do, loads of women do it for a  night out, why not me?  I thought curlers that's what I need.  Now I don't have a sister and my mum always has had short hair so it was up to be inexperienced husband to do it.  This picture is at its best, unlike the magazines or the u tube video's we sat and studied before my husband, Nicky Clarke wannerbe, helped turn me into a bride.  Well I can't show you an after shot as it wasn't worthy of one, I think hedge and backwards would of been the title of the picture if I had one.  So I opted for the old faithful straightness and curled my hair on the day.
